The time has come

Alright guys this is the last training i have with you guys for the last 1 year
its been a memorable time for me with you guys and all the support you all gave
I don't know weather i can get a chance to met you guys again, but if you all want me
to help you guys in trainings or need a guidance feel free to approach me.
Always remember my fellow cadets work like a team, your team is like a family
trust your team and you will get along with each other well.

Reflection about ADC

Camp Date: 15 - 18 march 2010
5th Advance Drill Course ( Supernumerary )

The first day of the camp,Booked in at 0800 hours.
When i reach HQ the first part is the bag check, after all the inspection we are told to march till the MPH ( Multi Purpose Hall ). After upon reaching there, we are to take attendance and we are sorted to different groups. So my group was Platoon 5 Tiger 2.
As the first days go we had "ICE BREAKERS" to get to know each other name and their hobbies, after the whole platoon ice breaker than its time for Section Ice breaker.

After the whole ice breaker, we had our lunch. The food is very delicious because its FREE. After lunch we are told to do pull ups, but for me i struggle very hard and still cant make it. So after the whole pull up section we move on to the foot drill and advance foot drill. There we learn Slow march and Fast march, Learn how to get a U shape with proper command.

Soon its time for theory, so went of to MPH and learn What is the 5 main qualities of a Drill Instructor.

2nd day woke up around 5 30 am and we had morning PT, after that went for breakfast.
After breakfast we learn theory the most till evening.

3rd day was a fun day, Woke up as usual morning pt + 1.5 km brisk walk.
After the PT we learn Sword drill and Colour Drill. It was fun and i learn a lot from there, the first time i hold a ceremonial sword was a very happy feeling, and its very persitage for me to hold it.. after all the drills its time for Pull Up test, I try my very best and at last i can do 2 pull up. its a success for me, after the PT test, its time for the theory test. It was quite easy if you learn and memories it. so the last night we had very fun day and we all are relief from the test.

Last day of the camp, Woke up as usual + 1.5 km run, Its first time for me to run 1.5 km without stopping and its very fun when u get to jog with the whole platoon through out the HQ campus. After PT its breakfast, but everything change, from 0800 - 0900 they gave us 1 hour to bath and change to our No.3, after we change, we took picture with the whole company. and we had our AAR and last our ceremony rehearsal. After the graduation ceremony, my platoon was ask to fall in and break up into section, thats where the C/LT's put our presitage golden landyard around our hand, and we all knew that we have pass our test and most importantly we get new experience.

NCC Training on 24/3/10

Hello cadets!

Please be reminded there will be training this wednesday,24th March 2010.

Part As,please bring your PT Kit and your No.3 uniform. Your no.3 uniform is the one with the white shirt and black pants. Don't confuse yourselves by bringing your no.4!!!! @_@

Part B,C and D please report in your No.3 uniform.

Part As please do bring your PT kit but you will report in your no.3 uniform.

All of you will report at the parade square/court yard at 2.45pm sharp.

Late comers...no punishment,chill. Just explain to Mr Zaf or Mr Chong why you're late...if it's invalid then you're on your own...hahaha.

ALL must bring your no.3 uniform!!!!! It's super important!!!! Because the seniors are gonna teach the Part As how to wear their uniform properly! MUST BRING!!! We are also giving out badges!

Those who have friends who are from NCC but they just don't wanna come...most likely lazy/scared because that's one of the reasons I didn't go for NCC...besides some personal issue. Just drag them to NCC...the more the merrier...you do things together and you feel strong because your unit is big in number. So please come!! Wednesday,24th March 2010!

Hello cadets,

Today's your day!

Remember,being in the G.O.H Contingent is extremely prestigious and it's your special moment. So do whatever you have to (your rifle drill thingy and your marching) well...do it well please. Show that we're the UG in SMB that can march super well!

Thanks to every single cadet that has sacrificed other things to come down to practise/rehearse with the rest. Once again,do your best and I'm sure everything will turn out well.

Last Rehearsal

This will be our last rehearsal and last training for all the graduating classes,

Tommorow we will be wearing Half U and on friday wear Full U to school.

Tommorow reporting time is at 2 45 pm with the Dummy rifles at the parade square.

Full Dress Rehearsal

Good evening,

Next week we will have our first full dress rehearsal.
Part A cadets are to bring PT Kit and fall in @ the parade square by 3PM Sharp
Part B and C cadets are to bring Full no.4 uniform with Baret if you dont have baret borrow from some ncc cadets that are not involve in the GOH contigen.
Part B and C cadets are to fall in by 2 50 PM Sharp with the M16 dummy rifle.
Late comers will get severe punishments. Remind your friends about this

Its is a compulsary to bring both. and on wednesday the
GOH contigen are to report in Half u @ 2.50 pm Sharp
